Lumenis Photofractional

The Lumenis PhotoFractional™ treatment is Juno Aesthetics’ complete non-ablative laser skin rejuvenation solution. It combines Lumenis IPL and Lumenis ResurFX. “Non-ablative” means that it does not remove the top layer of skin (as some more invasive lasers do), which enables Dr. Giyaur to achieve outstanding results in just several treatments, with minimal downtime.

Lumenis ResurFX

The Lumenis ResurFX™ laser skin resurfacing treatment is a painless, non-ablative skin resurfacing laser treatment that is ideal for reducing fine lines and pores, stretch marks, scars, improving skin texture, stimulating collagen production, and more. ResurFX uses a 1565 wavelength laser with a built-in scanner to avoid skin overheating.

Lumenis IPL

The Lumenis IPL (intense pulsed light) treatment creates an even skin tone by using focused light energy. It treats pigmentation, sun damage, broken capillaries, rosacea, and more.

PhotoFractional treatment details

To ensure patient comfort, Dr. Giyaur will apply a topical numbing cream before treatment. The Lumenis M22 also has a built-in cooling device, and in addition, we offer additional external cooling for those who may still feel uncomfortable.

Depending on your specific skin condition, each laser skin resurfacing treatment will last 10 to 30 minutes. You may feel a warm sensation or snapping during treatment, but it is gentle and shouldn’t be uncomfortable. Recovery from PhotoFractional

In the first few hours following treatment, you may experience some redness and swelling. You skin will feel hot, just like after it does after spending a day on the beach. The swelling will diminish anywhere within a few hours to a couple of days, depending on your skin’s sensitivity and how aggressive your treatment was. The redness will subside as soon as the next day, or over the next few days. Most of our patients can resume their regular activities the day of their treatment, or the following day.

When will results be visible?

Typically, about 3 to 4 sessions scheduled every 2 to 6 weeks will achieve the best results for skin improvement. All treatments are highly customized to meet each patient’s unique needs, and most patients begin to notice visible improvement in skin texture after the very first treatment. The collagen-building effect of the treatment starts a bit later, and you will continue to see improvement in your skin’s condition for many months after completion of your laser treatment thanks to this.
